GPW rents GSM phones that work worldwide. At the request of some of our customers, we are creating a new product - the Local SIM Rental Program.

The program provides for a Local SIM Card (essentially a local phone number) for the following countries. Australia, China, France, Brazil, South Africa and Singapore.

A SIM card is essentially the brains of a GSM phone - it is a programmable card that is inserted into the phone. For this program, GPW has sourced Local SIMs. This provides the renter with a local phone number for any of the above countries traveled to, and it also provides for lower call costs.

The rental cost is $25.00 per week for the use of the phone and SIM. Our standard shipping rates still apply.

With this new product and with all Global Phoneworks products, there is no minimum spend requirement, no hidden charges, fees, surcharges or taxes. You only pay for the minutes you use. You will know your phone number before you leave on your trip.

To order a Local SIM for one of the above listed countries, you must indicate under additional comments on the order form that you want a Local SIM.

These Local SIMs do not offer international roaming in other countries. If you are traveling to multiple destinations, you will need to utilize our standard rental product.

Travelers have the responsibility of reviewing their email confirmation from Global Phoneworks to ensure that they will receive the correct product they require for their trip.
